Hands on History (HoH) is a program of the Mission Inn Foundation & Museum funded through a grant by the Institute of Museum & Library Services. Hands on History offers free, downloadable lesson plans for grades 3-12, community history projects for middle and high school students, and volunteer opportunities for upper grade students.
Hands on History educational projects aim to engage students of all ages throughout Riverside in the history of their city with interactive, activity-based, and peer-to-peer learning opportunities. Projects are designed to foster an appreciation for local community by bringing history out of the textbook and into the classroom. Please contact Curator of Education, Taylor Libolt, at 951-781-8241 or to discuss Hands on History program offerings. For more information on Hands on History, please visit www.hohriverside.com.
